Senior Pastor

Jeff Romans serves as our pastor-teacher. He loves helping people become faithful followers of Jesus. He is married to the best woman he has ever met, Christine. They have four awesome boys named Christopher, Shawn, Samuel, and Andrew. Before moving to Montana, Jeff ministered in Akron, Chicago, and Los Angeles. He has obtained degrees from the Moody Bible Institute (BA) and The Master’s Seminary (M.Div).

Associate Pastor

Rick Haluszka serves as our Pastor of Pastoral Care and Discipleship. Born and raised on the Hi-Line, Rick came on staff in 2013 at CCC as a Pastoral Intern after graduating with a B.S. in HHP from Montana State University–Bozeman. Having completed five years of training and discipleship under Pastor Jeff, including graduating from The Master’s University with an M.A. in Biblical Studies, he was affirmed as an elder at CCC in January of 2018. Now, as an Associate Pastor, he oversees the soul care of the flock through various forms of discipleship and biblical counseling. RIck is happily married to Julia, and they have three children: Ian, Laura, and Emily. He enjoys reading, sports, Montana history, good conversation, good coffee, good BBQ, and any kind of dessert.

Dave Hilkemann, Facilities Manager

Facilities Manager

Dave is the Facilities Manager at Cornerstone. He and his wife, Dawn also teach the 2nd-4th grade Kid's Flourish on Sunday mornings. Dave and Dawn have three daughters, Anna, Sadie, and Callie, and one son, Silas. Dave enjoys riding his bike, drinking coffee, fly fishing, and woodworking.

Lindsey Gardner, Finance Manager

Finance Manager

Lindsey Gardner first began attending Cornerstone Community Church in 1991. She and her husband Jeremy have two children, Dallas and Savannah. Lindsey serves as Cornerstone’s Finance Manager. In addition to serving in our office, Lindsey serves on the Deacon’s Administrative Committee as the treasurer of the Deacon fund.

Youth & Counseling Intern

Jeremy Swaim is the Youth & Counseling Intern at Cornerstone. Jeremy’s primary focus is leading youth group, youth Sunday school, and helping students flourish in their walk with Christ. He is going to Westminster Theological Seminary online, studying for his Master of Arts in Biblical Counseling. He met his wife, Kaylinn, through church and youth group and they still serve together each Wednesday night. They have a son, Lewis. Jeremy loves hiking, mountain biking, walking with family, and having a good reason to act like a kid again each week.

Lindsey Kimm, Nursery Coordinator

Nursery Coordinator

Lindsey Kimm is the nursery coordinator at Cornerstone Community Church. She was born and raised in Billings but attended Montana State University for college- go Bobcats! Lindsey and her husband, Travis, both teach at Skyview High School and love spending time searching for the best parks around Billings, finding a good book at the library, and swimming at the waterpark with their son James.

Kid's Flourish Coordinator

Keren Ruthardt serves as a Kid's Flourish Coordinator. She was born and raised in Lolo, MT where she attended, and then volunteered at AWANA and Camp Utmost for many years. During this time Keren learned the importance of building a solid, Biblical foundation for our youth. She came on staff in 2022. Keren and her husband, Morgan, also serve the youth on Wednesday nights. They have two children, Mary and Caspian. In her free time Keren enjoys gardening, playing board games and rough housing with her kiddos.

Kid's Flourish Coordinator

Julia Haluszka serves as a Kid’s Flourish Coordinator. She grew up on a farm near Highwood, MT, attended MSU in Bozeman, and moved to Billings in 2013 with her husband, Rick, when he accepted a Pastoral Internship at the church. She considers herself blessed to raise three children at home: Ian, Laura, and Emily. She enjoys baking, spending time outdoors, and a moment of silence whenever she can get it.
